I believe the Bible is replete with so many blessings and promises waiting for us in days to come. What a glorious future we have in heaven and even on earth if we only trust in Him. The heart has an eye for beauty and an artist's eye got a heart for true expressions. If you will only let both do it, you wil prove how either of the two put your desires to reality, give me your portrait, descriptions and the precious name of somebody very close to your heart, I guess the apple of your heart or maybe a loved one... Let me scribble my pen and in acronyms allow me to use tints and hues and figures and shapes to offer the fantasies you may have for the people you love most! I call it Custom Art Portrait with a Personalized Poem of your Name.
I SAID I CAN PAINT WITH BOTH WORDS AND BRUSH, THAT COMES THOUGH BEFORE PUTTING DOWN THE FIRST STROKE. OF COURSE IT'S NORMAL THAT AT FIRST I FELT THE FEAR AND HESITATION AS USUAL CUZ IT'S QUITE RARE IF NOT TABOO OR ZERO IN ALL ARTWORLDS! When a painting takes that step from being something in your mind to being something struggling for realisation, when you can no longer go back, but aren't always sure how to go forward hahaha, I guess then, that's where success will creep in to attract the new trends in visual arts. Portrait or landscapes! Human interests or still life, why not? Abstract maybe with an abstracted poetry match, how's that? You name it, I bet we may do it together with PAINT & POETRY!
IT'S BEEN LIKE 3 1/2 DECADES THAT I HAVE BEEN SATURATED IN THIS SORT OF WORLD OF VISUAL ARTS, all what I can say is just be committed, Talk to yourself, Pray about the outcome, Talk to your client who's got cravings for some artistic expressions in his home, …. then Subjects and perspective come next, depends on my soul's ears and the requestor's heart that throbs too fast, Views and light, stay alive with your thoughts in mind, a heart that hungers for a Canvas prepped, And Colors Looking deep, ehem, ehem... Thinking whithout which how may the last stroke be given a chance?, Analyzing, that's human with his rationalities, Finding the hidden colors, not only in the palette found but more importantly in the eyes and in the heart and soul of my earthly tabernacle, Hidden views, Hidden perspective, truly a reality and they're at the back of my brain lobes, Complements and contrast, so important, all these keep bothering my hand muscles, the psychomotor... Pick up the brush and dip in into the paint, The first stroke…. Just give me few days to finish and I will personally deliver the painting to your doorstep and sign it right before your eyes! How is that? Okay, call me!

The academic quadrangle looked much the same as when we last saw it in 1977, although there are some buildings considerably repainted but some shows the worse for wear. The years had left their mark as well on the alumni, most of whom were of approximately the era of Nora and Tom Jones. Of bell-bottoms and shaggy hairstyle. We were between 14 and 17, baby boomers at that or Marcos babies, young then when last we met; now some are grandparents (LOL). Somehow, though, a quarter-century seemed to melt away as we so easily slipped back into the role of students: quarreling either between Nora and Vilma, or Crispa and Toyota, not so much of John Travolta and Novo Bono; debating the problems of the world esp. about oil crisis and OPEC, Marcos abuses and Imeldific buying spree, Van Cliburn and George Hamilton and Dovy Bim, or simply argue on eating in the campus canteen or outside but definitely not Jolibee as it then was a small food store sitting along Carriedo! As pleasant as it was, the ease with which we returned to those days had some struggling aspect; obviously, it wasn't all that long ago, and yet our youth is behind us. To be sure, so far we have mostly managed to stave off the dire effects of aging hahahaha. So many stories to share…...
